Art Corps

Get creative with Art Corps! 

Be an art instructor in your student's classroom.

The Art Corps program trains parent volunteers to teach preselected art lessons. Parents are provided with careful instruction and supplies, then they bring these new skills into the classroom and teach an art lesson to the students.

Time commitment:   3 hours per month during school hours

Volunteers attend a 1 hour long instructional class per month

Volunteers teach a 1 hour long art lesson per month, lessons take about half an hour to set up and clean up each.

Volunteers teach 5 lessons total

 

Family ART SHOW!   April 30th

Volunteers help prepare artwork for display, and install a school wide art show. Volunteers are responsible for matting their classes art March 30th - April 17th.  Please commit at least 2 hours to help set up for the school wide Art Show April 27 - 30th.
